Our Story

Founded to Transform Healthcare Procurement in Africa

PANGA MEDICAL was founded in 2008 by a team of healthcare and logistics professionals who recognized a fundamental challenge: healthcare facilities across Africa were struggling to access certified, reliable medical equipment at competitive prices.

The founders saw an opportunity to build a specialized B2B distribution company that would leverage international manufacturing relationships to bring quality medical devices directly to hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, and NGOs — eliminating unnecessary intermediaries and ensuring product authenticity.

Starting with a focused range of diagnostic devices in West Africa, the company grew steadily through a combination of product quality, reliable delivery, and exceptional client support. By 2015, PANGA MEDICAL had earned its first ISO certification and begun expanding into new African markets.

Today, we serve more than 500 partners across 50+ countries, offering over 200 certified product references, OEM/ODM manufacturing solutions, and a growing network of regional logistics partners dedicated to healthcare supply chain excellence.

PANGA MEDICAL secures its first international B2B client outside West Africa, delivering pulse oximeters and diagnostic equipment to healthcare NGOs operating in East Africa.

2015

ISO 13485 Certification

A landmark achievement: PANGA MEDICAL obtains ISO 13485 certification for its quality management system, validating our commitment to medical device quality standards and opening doors to new institutional partners.

2018

Pan-African Expansion

PANGA MEDICAL establishes active distribution partnerships in over 30 countries across West, East, Central, and Southern Africa, with dedicated regional logistics coordination hubs.

2022

OEM/ODM Service Launch

PANGA MEDICAL launches its OEM/ODM division, offering distributors and healthcare companies the ability to develop and commercialize their own private label medical devices through our certified manufacturing network.
